Parking: at the Victoria Park public parking lot.

Park at the Victoria Park Parking Lot (1). Make sure you take a fun photo with the “Most Road Trippable Town in Canada” sign (2). From here head to your right walking along the path, and watch for the wrought iron fencing right in front of you.  Keep walking straight until you look down through the trees and take in that breathtaking view of the Elora Gorge. You are actually above the Irvine Creek, where it joins the Grand River. From here, continue to your right (North), following the Irvine Creek pathway which will lead you to David St W and

the David Street Bridge (3). Take some photos of Irvine Creek as you cross the bridge. Then turn L at the end of the bridge and walk down the little trail beside the Community Centre. Continue to follow the trail until you a wooden staircase to the Lover’s Leap Viewing platform. This overlooks the confluence of Irvine Creak and the Grand River. Time for some more photos! You can continue along the path for a little while further, beside the gorge. Where the trail goes under a road bridge, turn around and head back the way you came to David St. Turn R and cross the bridge again and walk up to Smith St. Turn R and walk to the end of the street and turn L onto Henderson St.

At Metcalfe St/Wellington Rd 18, turn R onto the main street through Elora. Stop at the Elora Art Garden (5) and admire the Tall Man statue in the middle of the park. Then turn R onto Mill St W, admiring the limestone architecture of the preserved old buildings. Make sure to cross the pedestrian bridge (6) on your L and take some photos of the Elora Mill and the Tooth of Time, the rock in the middle of the Elora Falls.

Spend some time browsing the many boutiques and art galleries on Metcalfe St and Mill St W, before having dinner in one of the many restaurants and pubs that make Elora a special place to visit.

After you have finished exploring Elora, continue on Mill St W to Price St. Turn R and walk up to James St. Turn L to return to the parking lot where you parked your car.
